Don't Become an "Accidental Employer"
4/28/2010
Companions & Homemakers, Inc.’s General Counsel, J. Martin Acevedo, appeared on Fox61 television to discuss the legal and tax implications of hiring caregivers privately. In this segment, Attorney Acevedo discusses the pitfalls of hiring caregivers privately versus using an employment-based homemaker-companion agency like C&H. “Una related well with all the family members of four generations who visited my wife, showing tolerance and good humor while unobtrusively protecting the interest of her patient. She was engaged, caring and effective in a consistent manner throughout her stay with us.”
