Financial Options

  • We accept payments by check or credit card (MasterCard or VISA). (we can also accommodate wire transfers upon request.  Please inquire with our Finance Department.)

  • Our services are often covered under long term care (LTC) insurance benefits, Veterans Administration (VA) benefits,  and workers’ compensation insurance. 

  • You may qualify for services under the Connecticut Home Care Program for Elders (CHCPE), a state and federally funded program administered by the Connecticut Department of Social Services (DSS) through various regional Connecticut non-profit agencies. To be eligible,  applicants must be 65 years of age or older, be a CT resident, be at risk of nursing home placement and meet the program's financial eligibility criteria.  Please visit http://www.ct.gov/dss/cwp/view.asp?a=2353&q=305170 for program information.

  • Certain home care services, like personal care services, may be claimed as a deduction under IRS rules.  See IRS publications 502 at http://www.irs.gov/publications/p502/ar02.html#en_US_publink1000178851.   Consult an accountant or attorney for specific eligibility and professional advice.
