Companion Caregiver

Companion services are home-based supervision and monitoring activities which assist and/or instruct an individual in maintaining a safe environment when the person is unable to do so alone.

DUTIES:

• Provide a safe and comfortable environment
• Assist with phone calls and correspondence
• Provide recreational activities and friendly conversation
• Assist with errands and supervise activities as directed, such as taking medication, dressing, etc.
• Transportation of client to physician, recreational activities, etc.
• Other duties (not to exceed 20% of the time) include meal preparation, planning, shopping, etc.
• Light housekeeping, including laundry
